The Co-Op is looking for a new home!

Our massage practice has been growing by leaps and

bounds!  We recently closed our Torrington office due

to a change in our parking situation there and moved

everything to our Harwinton office.  We are now busting

at the seams and preparing to add our second addition in

two years (going up to 11 treatment rooms!).

I will continue to do the newsletters for classes and massage

related news but I have to let the product orders go.   I will

still entertain offers from anyone who wants to take all the

remaining stock.  Below are some clearance specials.

Call with questions.

Love,

Franci & Gary

Beautiful salt lamps, from the foothills of Himalayan Mountains are more than just pretty to

look at - they're good for you. Salt crystal lamps generate healthy negative ions that cleanse the air. Ever

experienced the change in the air after a good rain? That's from negative ions, and that's what these lamps

do, and they don't lose their power over time. Salt crystal lamps harness a very high energy frequency,

neutralizing EMF from our modern day living.  We have seen these retail for anywhere between $35 and $75ea.!

ZERO BALANCING CLASSES IN CT AND NJ -   with Verilee Herpich RN LMT ZB Faculty

Balancing skeletal energies and the body-mind through touch

Zero Balancing (ZB) is a unique, hands on, body-mind system of healing.  Combining Eastern and

Western concepts of healing and anatomy, ZB clarifies & coordinates energy fields in the body

by accessing the deepest currents - in the bones and joints.

ZB offers the opportunity to work with expanded states of consciousness and to address the

energetic field imbalances that precede illness.  Zero Balancing promotes a clear state of

balance, which helps relieve pain, promotes health and healing and a foundation for happiness.

ZB also reduces stress related tension, deepens self-awareness, and brings a person closer to

their true nature.

ZB I students learn to navigate the energetic and structural anatomies of the body’s foundational

structures and explore the body’s consciousness through touch.  On completion of the class, ZB I

practitioners will have the basic skills needed to integrate ZB into their established work and also

to practice full Zero Balancing sessions.    ZB II students learn additional fulcrums to expand and

complete the full Core Protocol, enhance their skills in handling energy and structure, how to frame

sessions, and advance their quality of touch, focus and body position for more effective work.

Health care practitioners using Zero Balancing skills find themselves able to serve their

clients/patients more completely, work with less effort, and feel greater satisfaction.  ZB principles

and skills can be integrated into many types of health care practices including but not limited to

Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, Nursing, Psychotherapy, Osteopathy,

Medicine and Naturopathic Medicine.

         25 CEU’s for NCBTMB & NCCAOM

Success Aerobics: A Prosperous Mindset Creates a

Successful Massage Business with Cary Bayer

Wednesday, July 16, 2008
8:00-10:00pm, after Chapter Meeting
2 CE hours / FREE to CT AMTA members
Courtyard Marriott, Cromwell, CT.
Register at the door prior to 8pm start time.

About the workshop:

A. Transform the unnatural act of “compliment deflection” and awaken

your innate capacity to comfortably accept appreciation and money

B. Identify 10 negative thoughts or obstacles that currently block the

achievement of massage goals and success.

C. Overcome these inner obstacles through the creation of ongoing

positive messages, resulting in greater capacity to achieve success

D. Identify a major secret of the creation of success: namely the role

that focusing on success has in creating more success. Awaken, at will,

the quality of enthusiasm, one of the major secrets of all successful people.

This enables LMTs to more powerfully magnetize people to them, including

new clients.

At a time when there are more massage therapists than ever before, merely

staying in business has become a formidable challenge. Compounding the

problem of marketplace competition is a vexing hidden problem: sabotage,

in the form of unconscious limiting beliefs that keep a massage therapist

struggling and consistently earning less than he or she is capable of. It’s like

tying a body worker’s arms behind her back. What's she to do?

This course will transform limiting beliefs about money and enable her to learn

to earn. The inner, daily workout taught in this workshop builds a powerful success

consciousness that naturally attracts more new clients to therapist. The workshop

won’t eliminate competition, but it will inspire an LMT to behave with such

confidence that she’ll feel as if she were the only massage therapist in town.

About the Instructor:
Cary Bayer
was the keynote speaker at the 2006 American Massage Therapy

Association convention in Atlanta. He’s a Life Coach and CE provider licensed by

Massage Business University, he writes a column for Massage Today, as well as

for AMTA publications in nearly a dozen states. He has also authored more than two

dozen publications on personal growth, including The Prosperity Aerobics; Breakthrough

and Knowledge for Power and Success: The Keynote Address for the 2006 American

Massage Therapy Association National Convention. He’s privately coached more than

100 massage therapists throughout the U.S. in sessions by telephone by the ocean in
